What type of care do you offer?
At Mossview we focus on providing residential care, we can also provide a level of dementia care although we do not have a dedicated dementia unit. Our experienced and dedicated team provide person-centred, supportive care while promoting independence in a home from home environment.
Should your care requirements change while you are with us, it’s no problem. We regularly assess the care we are providing and ensure that it is tailored to your current needs and requirements.
How will you help me to settle in?
Our experienced team are passionate about welcoming and integrating each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time as you need to settle in.
Within your first day you will have met with the home manager, discussed your care plan and had a chat with the cooks to have a chat about your taste preferences and dietary requirements.
Residents are encouraged to bring personal items, such as photographs, ornaments, etc. to make your room truly your own and create a home- from- home. From the moment you arrive at Mossview our team will ensure that your stay will be welcoming and comfortable.
We aim to make your arrival relaxed and informal, this is your home after all! Your family and friends are welcome and may remain with you while you settle into your new surroundings.
How often are visits permitted?
There are no set visiting times and friends and family are welcome to visit as often as they want and we encourage them to become fully involved in life at Mossview. However, for security reasons, it is helpful to know if any visitors are expected after 9pm. We ask that family and friends avoid meal times if possible, as it’s an ideal time for residents to socialise.
Can I bring my pet?
Regrettably we are unable to accommodate pets.
